For a tool box drawer organization this wouldn't be super efficient with space but would be good to keep stuff from rolling or sliding around. This seems like it would be pretty efficient for several screwdrivers or larger tools like the torque wrench pictured but hand wrenches would take up way more space than other designs.

You'd have to figure out what all you want to fit in a tool box drawer, then see if this would be efficient. If you really want to knock it out of the park and excite the family member with a 3D printer, put your tools how you'd want them to fit in the drawer, take pictures and dimensions of the drawer, and you can have custom 3D printed tool organizers for pretty cheap using existing print files to fit the drawer and tool layout. Would take a little more time and effort but it would make your tool organization be the envy of the neighborhood dads.
