If you don't already have one, then the 6.5" circle saw with 4ah battery is a great deal. At $10/ah, then the saw is just over $40

Good batteries but at $40 a pop ($200 ÷ 5), not quite slick. At least they are the HP.

Aren't the 4ah HP batteries normally $129 each?

Too bad it doesn't ALSO come with a free tool, even if it was just a light

Maybe, I didn't look it up, but I know we've seen Ryobi battery deals equal to or better than this. Nov 28 last years 6 pack deal of batteries 2 6.0 Ah HP, 2 4.0 Ah HP, and I think 2 4.0 Ah regular Ryobi for $199. https://slickdeals.net/f/18894796-ryobi-one-18v-high-performance-lithium-ion-2-4-0-ah-and-2-6-0-ah-batteries-with-2-4-0-ah-lithium-ion-batteries-199-at-home-depot?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3ATrue%7CSearch%3AType%3Anormal%7CSearch%3ASort%3Arelevance%7CSearch%3AHideExpired%3Afalse If you don't need an extra charger 6 batteries would have been sweeter. Most people buying this deal don't need the extra charger.

Is the guide still $10 an amp is a deal?

I missed this one by a couple of days and am holding out for it to come back. The 6ah would be nice for weed eating where I usually have to swap out a 4.

That's my rule of thumb. Some folks put a premium on the HP ones, but I don't have anything that would use them.

I got a 4Ah HP batteries with a brushless 1/2 in driver and now the battery is dead. Driver won't break a 80 lb ft lug nut loose. Charger is fked. Everything was mint, just crapped out about 1 yr maybe less. That's Ryobi for you.

If what you said is factual then it sounds like you are still in luck -- because it should all be covered under warranty!
