It seems too small to do much on its own, so multiple ones will need to get lined up. So rack mount seems preferable.
A separate inverter needs to be wall mounted.
5kw might cover a small house.
So mainly for off grid small buildings? Or limited backup power? Or maybe a small personal electric car charging station?

It has a rating for light sprinkling of water like an accident, but it not designed for exposure to the outside elements. Also, it requires ventilation, so you can't just enclose it in a large NEMA rated box for protection from the elements as it would prevent proper ventilation.
