Anyone have experience buying motherboards via Amazon Resale? Is "Like New" basically an Open Box item, with accessories included (cables, I/O shield, etc.)?
I'm not looking at this particular board, but there are a bunch with 10%, 15% or 20% discount showing.

I bought that same board and sent it back unopened. Probably too much to wish to get similar if ordered again. Basically I have no idea but it does concern me enough not to order it.

Yes, I've probably bought around 30-40 Amazon resale motherboards over time, I've never had an issue with any one of them, they come with everything needed, maybe sometimes it might be missing an extra m.2 screw but that's the worse case scenario.
i was in on this, but really i dont need full atx motherboards for anything but a project i have. and for that, i have a high end x570e already. opted for the gigabite mini itx board for 93$. its a much worse platform being an a620, but really for what ill do with it im not losing anything. (the board i did buy isnt part of that discount, but it was there on resale.)

"Like New" should include everything as if "new" so yes, basically open box. If it is missing something, or if there is some physical issue it is usually noted in the "used" item description.
I do have this board and bought it new. It is a decent board and has all of the basic features of X870, primarily more nvme slots. The only thing that sucks is the onboard audio. The stainless steel heatsinks is an unusual choice and doesn't match typical black or white builds, but I guess they didn't want to go with black to differentiate from their TUF lineup.

Not happy to hear.. whats wrong with audio? Won't be worse than b650 rog I have, hopefully?
Indeed, most barebone audio. even less outputs than rog 650 i am upgrading from (for usb4 primarily)
Hopefully sounds good

The ALC897 is a 7.1 Surround Sound High Definition Audio CODEC that provides:24-bit/192 kHz playback support for high-quality audioJack-detection and multi-streaming capabilities Front panel jack-retasking functionalityFull 7.1 surround sound output (requires compatible front panel HD audio module)📊 Performance Context The ALC897 represents a budget-conscious choice compared to ASUS's typical higher-end codecs like the ALC1200 or 4000-series. This is a fairly basic codec that ASUS selected to keep costs down on this motherboard, but it still delivers solid audio performance for most users."
Subjectively, the audio sounds tinny and lacks amplification to drive higher end headphones.

This is a very good price. Seems like op knows when Amazon updates their resale (warehouse) stock. Both the Ryzen 5 7600X and this X870 motherboard are insane deals assuming they are both fully functional, just with a few missing pieces. I mean heck you rarely get B850 at this price, let alone WiFi 7 built in (worth $30+). I will take crappy audio that can be easily fixed via a DAC or Amp at this price...
