I'm currently on a monthly plan. It's a bit unclear whether I can purchase an annual plan without having to create a new line entirely. Anyone have any idea? $399 still isn't bad, otherwise

Post is a bit misleading as you need to get a new line or it's $399 and needs to be activated on an existing line. Good deal for existing customers who wanted a new phone.

If you activate the phone on the current monthly plan in 15 days of receiving , I believe, you are good

I purchased a Pixel 9 for $439 last year and it is unlocked out of box.
