This Ninja PossibleCooker is basically a preset electric cooker with its own pot, aimed at rice, slow cooking, and simple one pot meals. The interior is reported to stay in great shape and the cooker works well for rice, while the larger 8.5 quart version and Costco pricing come up as stronger value references. The main drawbacks are the lack of pressure cook and air fry modes, plus an exterior finish that scuffs and turns black easily when the pot is removed. It reads as a handy cooker if you are fine with its simpler feature set and careful handling.

  • Home cooks making rice or simple one-pot meals, because the interior stays perfect and it works well for that kind of everyday cooking.

  • People who want a bottom-heated pot for simmering and sautéing, because it behaves like an electric stove with its own pot and presets.

  • Shoppers who do not need pressure cooking, because this model has no pressure cook mode and is closer to a rice cooker.

  • Cooks who want a durable exterior finish, because the outside scuffs easily and can turn black when the pot is removed.

  • People expecting a true pressure cooker, because this model has no pressure cook mode.

  • Buyers who need a long-lasting nonstick pot, because the coating can chip and the shaped insert may be expensive to replace.

  • Slow-cooker users who rely on even side heating, because this design appears to heat from the bottom only.

Yep, no pressure cook mode. don't know who had the idea to launch such product. Just another fancy design and name for a rice cooker.
Yeah lol. No pressure, no air fry. Then on top of that it's non stick, so it's only going to last as long as the coating on the pot and then the whole thing is trash bc no way this weird shaped pot inside is going to be cheap to replace.

If you do want one, the larger 8.5 version at Costco was actually on clearance for $50 just yesterday at my store. I'd check there. Even at that price, I couldn't even talk myself into getting it at that price.

I have their pressure/air fry combo and we use it a lot (mostly for pressure/air fry though). My only qualm is the ceramic no stick coating is chipping. But I'll eventually just get a stainless pot for it.

One of the big benefits of a real slow cooker is even heating from the sides. This appears to just heat from the bottom. I wonder if this causes sticking?

Which model of real "slow-cooker" are you talking about that heats from the sides?

Slow cookers (AKA Crock Pots) heat from the bottom. The crock pot part (the thicker style creamic container ones) can more evenly distribute heat to the sides than the thinner metallic-pot models.

The Instant Pot models (if that is what you meant) are not what I would consider a real slow cooker, as they are more of a pressure cooker. Please elaborate what you are talking about specifically.
