I had one similar to this and the solar for the camera never really worked well, especially in the winter. The feeder didn't hold much seed - gone in an hour or so. Also, I think all of the birds in the neighborhood chose it as their personal toilet as it was a real mess to clean every day. :-(

I bought a similar one and it's decent for the price, the solar panel keeps it fully charged (haven't tested it in winter) and the camera is surprisingly good. Just keep in mind that the AI bird identifier is a trial and requires subscription after (you still get notifications after trial ends).

It is belted to the hook part and the cord for the solar panel is wrapped around it 50 times. I am sure it can look better than I did it. Also will need to keep squirrels away if they are a thing where you live.

For some reason when I bought the "white" one (that looks red in the picture?) it was cheaper. I have Amazon business but I don't have Prime and the feeder, a separate $3 item I added, and tax was all together $29.14.

It will be interesting to see if the one I get is white or red but I'm willing to give it a shot since it's returnable. According to one of the videos, the roof solar panel is just for the night light and the camera has a larger, wired solar panel.

What is the subscription for then? Does it give cloud storage around the time of notification.
Assuming it has SD card, doesn't it store events you could watch them? Coming from Wyze, SD card events simply work.

Ai is for bird identification, not sure if it provides storage as well. I just use an sd card
