issue is theres no trade in value and selling online u make 20-30 bucks after fees basically not even worth time work min wage job pays more

This has a little known issue with magnetic cases (folio style). If the case magnets are placed near the nxtpaper switch, it will render the switch unresponsive. Which means you can't switch modes with the case on. Remove the phone from case, then the nxtpaper switch works again. It doesn't have this problem with normal cases that don't have magnets in them.
