Anyone know if this version is worth it over standard Blu-ray version? TBH, my BD version barely looks better than DVD, but kinda to be expected considering its an 80s production.

I would say so. Out of all of the new HK titles Shout has remastered in the past year I do think that The Killer is the least difference of all of them but I still think it looks great in comparison to the DVD.
