Anyone know if this version is worth it over standard Blu-ray version? TBH, my BD version barely looks better than DVD, but kinda to be expected considering its an 80s production.

I would say so. Out of all of the new HK titles Shout has remastered in the past year I do think that The Killer is the least difference of all of them but I still think it looks great in comparison to the DVD.

Looks like the box pic says 1.85:1, so it's letterbox ultrawide. I think I'll stick with standard blu-ray for the 16:9 widescreen with no black bars. I assume it's more noticeable than any PQ improvements.

This is such a great movie for me. I miss when they made such a variety of movies and oh so many were good.
