I just got this router and apparently they don't price match to their own website you have to buy online and pickup.

If you mean will they match online deal price in store, I've gotten them to price match before. If you mean will they just refund you the difference post-purchase, haven't tried that.

Also yes its a better deal if you can get the plunge base for $10 - if you need the plunge base. If you're putting it in a table and throwing the plunge base on a shelf, this is the better option.
