Ace is kind of like the convenience store for hardware and home improvement.Yes, there is a little bit of a premium but you can get in and out a lot more quickly usually. Depending on your area, they sometimes have more knowledgeable workers ready to help. I go when I want to get something that I know they will have. I can get in and out faster than the time it takes for me to park my car at Home Depot and make it to the front door.

I got a $10 off $10 coupon for my birthday in the app. Can't use on sale items, everything still more after coupon. Ace pretty much sucks.

the only way to make ace work is to get the 20% off giftcards, then get rewards and use the $20 off $100 coupons or the rarer %15 through 25% off, and then just maybe the price will be cheaper than anywhere else.

ACE sells cheap propane refills near me and has a loyalty program. This deal stacks nicely on that.

The Sales they have on EGO tools often match Lowes.

Some Ace stores sell fishing licenses and parks (national or state) passes. Has anyone used an Ace gift card on one of those?

Does Ace even have good coupons anymore? That was the only reason to ever go there.

Was going to comment this. Ace is not the cheapest, no. They are like Chick-Fil-A. Someone local generally owns that franchise and if it's run well, they have great workers that really are helpful. The coupons sometimes work in your favor and now you have to have the app to get the best deals.

It may be a little more expensive, but I can always get help there and it's always clean and well-stocked, so it tends to be my go-to hardware store.

We just got one locally.... Makes a big difference having a hardware store rather than having to go to and deal with a big box.
