These are also good for a quick colonoscopy in a pinch.

Hmm requires an app to clean my ears? I'm good.

I just use those hand syringes (not the bulbs) with warm water and basin. Works great.

Yes. Ideally you shouldn't be reaching in there physically. In my experience carbamide peroxide (available over the counter), works great. But this is useful to see what's happening in there.

Isn't it well researched that generating earwax is an important bodily function for filtering out debris from your sensitive inner ear and shouldn't be cleared out?

This brand ear wax removal kit seems to make its Front Page rounds quit often. I got suckered into ordering it based on other posts. IMO, you get what you pay for applies. This is garbage. The light isn't bright enough and the camera quality isn't close to what is depicted. Maybe buy a higher quality tool or just go to your doctor to have your ears cleaned out. The light doesn't illuminate beyond the tip of the tool.

I have something similar to this that I'll use once every few months to see if there's any buildup in my ears.

I've got one of these from one of the hundreds of companies that slap their 5 letter acronym company name on the same product.

I recommend it even though it has some suspicious chinese app. Being able to look in your own ears can save going to the doctor for an expensive check. Also sometimes I'll just have a weird itchy inner ear and find a hair stuck to the inside of my ear.

This is great as an inspection tool. For actual ear wax removal, the best tool is always the washing kit unless your ear has infection or perforation.

It is advised to not stick anything into the ear beyond what can be seen, but remember that the ear drum is fairly close < inch from the outside of the ear.

Funny I literally just used this exact brand to remove some earwax for my kids, very effective. I don't have any other brands to compare with but the Bluetooth pairing is very fast and the video quality is good enough for me to see if there are wax or not. The light is bright enough as well. I use my eyes and the lights, I let my kids hold the phone to see what I'm doing, this helps them feel safer and know what is being done to the ears instead of panicking and screaming. For $6 I definitely ain't complaining

I haven't bought this specific one but I have used one of the others to unblock a ball of wax that got stuck next to my ear drum that multiple uses of debrox and flushing with bulb couldn't shake out.
