Tempting on Ishin! I've heard mixed things on it though.

The negatives i've heard had to do with dubbing or something like that.

I still enjoyed the game but it felt more like Yakuza 3 Remastered from several years ago (not the new Yakuza Kiwami 3 version). The game definitely felt more dated but was still very much enjoyable. For this price, I would recommend it to Yakuza series fans!

I thought I would like it a lot due to the setting, but I think it is one of my least favorite. It just didn't click with me. Its not bad, if you are a series fan by all means get it at this price.

Anyone have any experience with Atomfall? The art and setting look good, or at least my style at the least lol. But a little more than my splurge limit for unknown games.

It's fine. If "Yakuza in feudal Japan" appeals to you, then you'll enjoy it. The Wild Dancer is one of the more fun combat styles in recent memory. The biggest shortcoming is that it's a PS4 remake of a late-gen PS3 game, and so the remastering is a tad lazier than, say, the ground-up remakes of the Kiwami line.
Some of the historical setting will probably be lost on those not well-versed in Japanese history. But even though it's ostensibly the Yakuza cast playing "roles" in a historical play, they're still Yakuza characters first and foremost. Compare Sakamoto Ryōma as played by Kiryu vs Sakamoto Ryōma portrayed in Rise of the Ronin and you'll find the two barely resemble each other.

I thought the game was a lot of fun, cool story and gameplay. Definitely Fallout vibes while playing and it also has different endings depending on your choices. Not terribly long, but I'd pay $20 for it. (I played it on Game Pass when released).

Doom The Dark Ages seems to constantly go on sale for $20, despite coming out not too long ago. I actually bought it for $25 last year, but refunded it because I lost interest and never installed it. Indicates to me that the game didn't sell that well, and not many people are playing it.
