Isn't that the point of this product...?
So you don't get all those dust fibers, pollen, carpet dust blown at you and in your face while the fan blows directly at you?
The aforementioned seems like exactly the justification for this use-case.

I purchased a V10 Dyson vacuum using Costco's credit card, assuming it would add an extra year of warranty to the shit 6 month provided by Dyson. I did not know at the time it specifically excludes used items. They refused the argument that factory refurbished is not the same as used. Could not get the warranty extended when the battery died at 7 months.
American Express, however, does not exclude factory refurbished items. Use that, if you have one (and if those terms still apply).
