Was considering a Joola banned 3rd gen paddle from Woot for $70/$80. Seems Six Zero Double Diamond is most popular and AI seems to agree. How does Six Zero compare? Thx.

Six Zero are great paddles, but I have found the 11six24 paddles better. I would take Six Zero as my 2nd option then Joola , Selkirk.

People won't play with you if you use a banned paddle. They're picky about paddles and balls used.
SixZero is okay, but besides their Coral paddle, the rest of their lineup is dated. Depending on your budget, I'd go with the Enhance MPP Turbo ($100), Honolulu J2CF CB ($180) or 11six24 Vapor Power 2 ($195). The latter two have gritty surfaces that won't smooth out over time.

I don't say anything about peoples paddles (mainly because I don't follow closely to know all the banned models) but ball snob, absolutely. Selkirk pro s1, Franklin x40, or maybe a Lifetime ball in a pinch.

Lifetime is the standard ball now. I'm not playing with a Pro S1...it's basically a pillow.
Wondering if I could pick your brains out there. I tried an Engage Pursuit Pro 1 and thought it was quite nice but I don't have anything else to compare. Would any of the paddles mentioned above play similarly or better?

I bought the s1 ball dozen pack from an SD post... . Nobody wants to use it at my local court lol the bounce and hit are not the same as Franklin/LT

A ball I can understand because it ruins the experience, but complaining about a paddle is just an excuse.

Certain paddles "core crush", which puts them badly out of spec. Someone using a rocket launcher isn't exactly fair, the Joola Mod TA being the main one in question. But I think it's not really an issue now that it's discontinued.
