B4 / b5 I just tested the cheapest OLED TV you can buy — here's the results | Tom's Guide https://share.google/9XN3KB5CZuT0cTJ5n

Probably LG. They have a practical monopoly on OLED technology.

If you have budget for b4 or b5, get that. LG OLEDs are reliable

I don't know where the poster is getting that this TV has HDMI 2.1, but from my poking around in the past I was disappointed to find that it only has HDMI 2.0. on the product page here it says HDMI 2.0, and on this video review it say it has HDMI 2.0 at time stamp 3:13.

It's a cool tv, but that's what has given me pause in the past. It has been around $550-$500 for a little while now.

Yes they make QD-OLED panels (substantially different from LG's), but funny enough a lot of Samsung OLED TVs use LG panels (WOLED.)

It sucks that Rtings did a paywall.

I have this TV. The picture quality is very similar to my old LG C1, which is supposed to be about the same as a newer LG B4. I use a Firestick Max (newest version) with it, so I can't complain about the smart apps or remote control. There is only one quirk I've noticed. I have to press the Firestick remote's power button twice in rapid succession to get it to turn off. That's the only issue I have with it. It's hard for other people to turn it off who don't know the trick. I know there are settings you can tweak to address that problem in the Firestick's settings, but I've tried them all with no luck. To me, it's a non issue. I have three TV's in my living room for watching sports. This little Sansui is the smallest one. I got mine at BJ's for around this same price, and it included a free 5-year warranty. The picture is really impressive out of the box in Standard picture mode. It doesn't need much if any tweaking.

Ugh this. I've made so many purchases using rtings in the past and was in the market for a new OLED. Ended up going with a C5 purely off my experience and familiarity with my C1 and Dolby vision.
