I posted this because I almost bought the Frontpage deal for a model worse than this for this Same price ( https://slickdeals.net/f/19487889 )

I have done a lot of research and right now I think this is the best 85 inch TV you can buy for $800.

The Hisense QD7 is better because it's a step‑up model with stronger picture quality and performance overall. It uses a more advanced QLED + Mini‑LED setup, which gives you brighter highlights, richer colors, and a more impactful HDR experience. While both TVs have local dimming and 144Hz panels, the QD7 typically handles contrast and motion a bit better, so you'll get cleaner dark scenes and smoother action for sports or movies.

The QD7 also edges out the U6 in features and gaming performance, with better tuning for motion, lower input lag, and more premium processing. Since both TVs are the same price, you're essentially getting a higher-tier TV for the same money, which makes the QD7 the better overall value.

It looks like there are added delivery perks to this deal.

You can choose free delivery where Amazon brings the TV into your room of choice and even unboxes it for you at no extra cost (a $29 value).

If you prefer, there's also a free option for delivery to your room of choice without unboxing (a $19 value).

Only very small negative that I see (depending on your preferences) is that it is Fire TV

I bought this exact model last time it was on sale for the theater room. it looks amazing, local dimming zones look great and in black background scenes you don't see the halo effect around bright things. it is super bright, will make you squint in a dark room and a bright scene comes up.

looks great at 4k 144hz gaming (have a RTX 5080 pc driving it)

speakers are meh but if you have an 85" tv you shouldn't be using the internal speakers. i have it paired with a 5.2.1 dolby atmos set up through ARC and everything works great now!

TLDR: buy it!

I have the previous version without local dimming and it's been the best tv I've ever used
However, mine is Google tv .. Not sure about fire tv os... Tv hardware itself is great though
