I buy the sunflower seeds every year, for the birds and for growing sunflowers. I sprout huge trays inside them transplant them outside. That along with all the birds eating and pooping the seed I get a ton of sunflowers in my yard.

Thank you for that. I bought Pennington before but switched to the cheaper Walmart brand. However, I found it had a lot of dust, sticks, etc and the quality didn't seem as good. Actually, the Tractor Supply was a little more expensive than the Walmart, but about the same so-so quality. Pennington was better. We go through a lot of seed in the winter, but don't put as much out in the spring and summer. We do fill up several bird baths daily though to go along with the bird feeders, hummingbird feeders, etc.
