Especially when the LVC is not built into the battery but rather M18 tools. I wouldn't trust that rinky dink inverter with my 8ah and 12ah Forge batteries.

Any properly designed inverter should have built‑in low‑voltage and overload protection, so the battery's own protection system remains in control as long as it's operating within spec.
