Very old chip, an entry level M1 MacBook from that same era would be way more efficient.

No, it's not and neither is this a good deal. We have had this posted with the Ryzen 5 5650U for just a few dollars a plethora of times and even with the intel 11th Gen processors. An outdated chip and a S&D condition for $210 is definitely not good price.

Confused

We still have 100s of these deployed as field laptops and they're absolutely fine for running Office apps, VPN, web browsing, and email. The only limiting factor is the 256GB hard drive, and some might prefer a 16" screen instead of 14".

These laptops are well made and fairly durable. They're business class so a lot of the components are replaceable. For the price it's a decent deal.

Last statement is where it breaks down. You're right. This is a corporate laptop. The way woot probably got a shipment of this is through some corp retiring their deployed fleet and upgrading their employees' laptop. But to state that "for the price, it's a decent deal" that's where it breaks down. Like what the other poster said, $100-$150 would make sense for this.

These are good machines. We used them at our work with the intel based processors. I'm buying one for my Senior high schooler. They are durable and well made compared to other cheap model laptops.
