I have lower arches that are supposed to need more support, but the 1080 is a neutral shoe, and my arches have felt great in them for daily wear. They have held up surprisingly well. I would highly recommend going out to a store and trying them on for a few minutes. The only criticism I have of them is that they aren't as stylish as the Adidas, but again that's subjective.
