haha, have this sitting next to me on my desk. Picked it up with my $10 best buy cert (another slickdeal.. targeted). I read in the reviews that you can charge them while in controller and also in the docking station with a regular USB cable - no need for a Series S.

That's interesting to hear. I just got the black/Series X version open box a couple weeks ago. Haven't been able to try it out yet because I can't even see the front of my console for other crap on my desk, but I will try this with them.
