FWIW. This thing takes 8 AA batteries--maybe that's a good/bad thing. It does last marginally longer than my other locks which require 4 AAs. The fingerprint pad is finicky. Make sure you place your finger perfectly centered or finer print read will fail. It doesn't do a good job at storing your print in different positions. So you're better off saving each finger position as its own print. For example, "Left thumb center" "Left thumb tip" and "Left thumb base".
Pass-through and auto-lock mode needs to be changed through the app. If you enable pass through mode and then manually lock, it will engage auto-lock from then on.
The keypad is super sensitive to the touch but there is no tactile feedback or buttons so you can easily hit wrong button.
Pros- the WiFi and app works well. The app is called 'Home Access' developed by some Chinese developer--Shenzhen Conex Intelligent Technology
