No, but based on my experience these are coiled so they want to return to that state. What this means is as you pull the snake out of the drain and it's free, it will re-coil and launch nasty stuff and its juices all over the place.

One of the photos on Amazon product page shows the "coil" and that one made me pause. The one I use is straight and stores quite well for my purposes, so I'll stick to that style
