Curious why they would have 5070ti on clearance? That is kinda weird.
I was able to pick one up here in California but I agree... I thought it was weird too. Happy that it happened though!

Some stores is 899. Some are 699. It seems to me like it depends on the area of the store but a bigger city probably has the 699 price.

Rumors are due to memory shortage they are reallocating the memory to 5080s.

So if rumor is true, that means a clearance on 5070ti?

And a price decrease of 5080 to $999 instead of the current $1300 ish?

I doubt that would happen...

Bec of AI, anything under 24GB will drop in price faster now...

I'm actually shocked AMD and Nvidia havent released lower prices cards that r slower but higher memory, at least 32/48gb for gaming and Ai, will sell like hotcakes...

If they allow them to stack like SLI in the old days, will be whole another level.... have to move on from the 3060 and 3090 sometime....

Yes, it was a separate email from Best buy that included instructions to redeem a code through the Nvidia app

I'm not sure what platform it's on, the email said to redeem through the Nvidia app. I haven't done it yet

There isn't going to be a price decrease of the 5080.
It just means they are going to streamline the product line.

The problem is the memory itself is scarce, which is why that would make no sense.

But even if supply met demand, they aren't about to cut into their enterprise grade cards by taking away the one thing that separates a $6000 card from a $600 card.

Also, SLI doesn't "stack".

All SLI does is allow for synchronous tasks like frame interleaving, so one card works on odd frames and the other on even for shared workloads.

Cards in SLI still operate separately without a shared memory bus. Two 16GB cards in SLI doesn't equate to either card having 32GB total available.

The only Nvidia technology that allows for a shared bus is Nvlink, which is only found on enterprise grade cards to further justify the higher price tag.
