Helpful tool, however I would still prefer the 10.5" version for 17mm socket set. I have both and tend to use the shorter one. Yes for 22mm sockets version I'd prefer the longer 18" version.
I have a set of CROM stubby impact sockets and purchased this on Friday and it was delivered yesterday. Astro works perfectly with the CROM sockets. It even locks them in so it won't fall out like they do with my 17 mm ratchet wrench. The price is perfect at $25
