Yes you would, which is why I said 7-8 years. This is typically how long Apple provides major MacOS upgrades for MacBooks. Security updates continue for another 1-3 years after that.

This thing will work as good as new for 7-8 years. Can't say the same for most Windows laptops.

Yes that is Costco's policy. Plus you can get up to 4 percent back if you are an executive member and have their credit card.

Bought one yesterday. $50 cheaper than Best Buy. Also, Costco provides an additional year of hardware warranty and you can buy AppleCare plus for 20% cheaper than directly from Apple. You also have a 90 day return policy versus 14 days at Best Buy, Apple and other places.

Are you sure about 90 days return policy?

The fact that costco provides 2nd yr warranty makes this even better. This is around 50 bucks lower than amazon and microcenter.

This is 15% off MSRP. You either got yours on sale or you bought the 256GB version.
On Sale, at this price regularly. Like I said.

I play World of Warcraft. I do 10 and have aotc on midnight falls boss. I was thinking about buying this for the game but Macbook Air isn't good for games in general. Because of lack of cooling, it throttles the entire time (Eversong Woods 40fps average) once the game makes computer reaches a normal operating temperature. If you are buying a macbook for a game, go buy a macbook pro (Eversong Woods 90fps average) or mac mini instead.

Neo is good for high school students. A household that don't wanna drop a grand on a computer 😁😁😁

36GB and I'll strongly consider these
Clearly you don't understand these machines. The majority of sales are the base unit. You are not getting one of these with 36mb memory. The most they have is 32 and that's usually direct from apple at full price , although I have seen some at Best Buy online as well. You pay a ridiculous premium for 32.

It's a bummer they dont sell the 32gb ram versions at Costco.
Nobody buys it. MacBook Air the base models regardless have been I believe about 70 percent of more of the sales of these machines. If you want a load of memory then a MacBook pro is the right machine.
