This tape doesn't have an adhesive, it just sticks to itself. You don't have to secure the end

Love this stuff. It's my go-to for wrapping my handles on knives and machetes.

What anything different can this do that duct tape doesn't?
First, it won't leave a nasty residue. But that's not what's it's for.
I use it this instead of electrical tape, especially in places where I know I might need to replace it in the future or where I need the extra thickness.

How do you secure the end?

I actually have a roll of this that will not be used for its intended purpose, as well as two packs of hockey tape, but whenever I think about wrapping handles with tape, my brain just automatically goes straight to wads of sticky oozing electrical/duct tape slowly slipping and sliding away from their original position. Like the one on my steering wheel.

SO many uses beyond what's listed. I've used it for clamps and a DIY gasket

Never tried this type before, but I'll give it a try. The reviews online are pretty great. Thanks.

Only in gray though...not black. At least that's what it shows online.
