Whomever buys this is an idiot this generation of phones is a lost cause this is pixel 9 with very little improvements like 25 bucks worth. Charging extra 200-300 extra.

For those that care, Pixel phones charge pretty slow compared to my 4 year old Samsung Galaxy S22+. 45W vs 30W on the Pixel.

And no SIM card slot...that said if you use the AI suite fully it kinda cuts the price significantly

Just FYI, the supposed $100 extra trade-in value is still less than the trade-in value I get direct from Google for a Pixel 7. It's $75 + $100 from amazon, but a $180 value from the google store. Both also have it for $600 for the 128GB unlocked. So, not really much of a deal here that I see.
(Note, trade-in value for the Pixel 7 might be more than for other brands, as Google tends to give higher trade-in for people moving from same line Pixel to new Pixel. (ie. 7 to 10, 7a to 10a, etc. For example the P7 that comes up as $180 value trade-in for the Pixel 10 is only $95 for the 10a or 10 Pro.)

Also, Pixel 11 should be out in a couple months, so can expect some additional deals then I think.

I'd wait for the pixel 11. It should also have a user replaceable battery that the 10 lacks because of new EU laws.

Pixel 10 is free from T-Mobile if you have received a targeted offer. Otherwise might make sense to wait for the Pixel 11.

no free phone. they dialed back the consumer protections to fleece consumers again.
2-3 yr contract while over priced phone plans. even unlocking phones is 365 days vs 60 days? wtf.

i'll keep my visble 15 dollar plan as a main for the next 5 yrs. all of them need to compete

/shrug. I have two lives with TMO for a total of $35/mo. Yes, the free phone is with bill credits over 24 months but I want planning on leaving anyway. With streaming perks, it brings down the cost of my rate plan even further. I would never do to prepaid as long as I can maintain my plan.

The Pixel 11 drops in August I think. The deals will get better especially when gas hits $6 nationwide.
