2AH is a waste.. I suppose when using in smaller tools it's okay. Better deal would be 3 4AH high performance for same price
It's two 4 Ah batteries. The 2 A refers to the charging rate of the charger. Ah is a unit of energy. A is a unit of power. A 4Ah battery will take 2 hours to charge with a 2 A charger. 4 Ah / 2A = 2 h

I own 2AH, 4AH, and 6AH 18V. The 2AH doesn't last long that's why I prefer 4AH at minimum. I am an avid Ryobi user. For lawn I prefer the 40V for more power. In 18V, the 2AH is like a kid toy... just saying.

Ryobi batteries are often available for $10/ah. Example: combo of two 4 ah batteries and one 2 ah battery for $100.

I'm guessing $129 is the old $99?

I regret buying these when I got two for $99. Now I have batteries but the tools without batteries cost an arm and a leg. Every time there's a sale they're giving you a free battery with a tool. I need a leaf blower and the blower alone is $169. But the same day, Kobalt had a 500+ CFM leaf blower on sale with a 40v battery and charger for only $99.

Stocking up on Ryobi batteries just doesn't make sense. Wait for a free tool offer or a free battery with tool purchase like they had all weekend.

This is good advice but if you want 6ah or higher you will most likely be purchasing those separately.

Depends on the use case. I use the 2AH all the time in the brushless drills/impact drivers, inflators, hand vacs, lights, etc. I use the larger ones in fans, blowers, stick/shop vacs, skill/reciprocating saws, etc. Depends on how much use you will need at the time vs weight/maneuverability

Yeah true.. I use the bigger tools more frequently. Either way, prefer to spend a tad bit more to ensure power needs are always met! I have a bunch of 2AH but just spend through that. Also not High Performance version which also makes a difference. How's the inflator work? Been thinking on that one. Please let me know - thanks in advance!
