Does the warranty cover damage from wind? Or is this the same tin can shed that my parents bought fifty years ago, and twisted and became airborne at the next wind?

It's very likely this is a cheap Chinese metal shed. Don't expect it to be fully hurricane proof. They probably engineered it to use the absolute thinnest metal possible in order to save money. Expect to get what you pay for. A super cheap shed, that will take days to build, requiring multiple people, confusing instructions, mislabeled or unlabeled parts, misaligned holes, damaged or missing parts, all to create a shed that'll just work for housing stuff and potentially deform upon impact or serious weather event.

No seriously these are half as thick metal just thicker than aluminum foil. I read enough reviews of 8 hour two person assembly nightmares and changed my mind. Got the suncast plastic from sams club on sale 4x6, two in fact until I build one from wood.
