No it doesn't. I've done this a few times and got the discount the last time with no lost of service. So far no luck yet this time (my discount expires next billing).
Also in the last time I got discount, I also played with toggling my 'numlock' off and back on.

Anyone getting a discount if they have phone credits? I have 19 months of credits left for my pixel 10, presumably they know I'm stuck for a while.

Switch to T-Mobile BYOD you get $800 per phone and 400 BYOD that is stackable. Good deal.

Wish I could - I have Fios and a rep gave me a lifetime discount on top of a 10 year guarantee (as long as I stay w/Verizon for cell service) so I now pay $14.99/mo for another 8 years for home internet and I'm never giving that up. laugh out loud
