No fluff like a flashlight. This is really 6 tools. At $10/Ah that makes each tool less than $60. Someone looking to start their collection would do very well getting this.

I would highly recommend this set. At 454, it has powerful tools without the high price tag of buying them individually.

I'd really appreciate an advice from you all. I've recently bought DCK510P2 kit (https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL...re-details)

It was also discounted at $540. It is still new, so I can return it. And now there is this kit for $454. Should I return and buy this one? Here are the tool differences between them:
Drill: DCD806 vs DCD799
Driver: DCF845 vs DCF850
Circular: exactly the same
Recip: DCS384 vs DCS382
Grinder: none vs DCG405
Multitool: exactly the same
Charger: DCB118 vs DCB107
Batteries: 2x5Ah vs 1x2Ah + 1x5Ah

I can def. get angle grinder additionally to my set which will probably bring my total to ~$650 (I would probably get DCG113 though). But I loose some on the charger, hammer drill, and batteries.

Which one would you recommend to a person starting their power tool set (I had some old tools before, but they were all corded bought from garage sales).

Yes, and it may be more than you'll ever need. Same with the recip. It's great to have top of the line stuff, but the lower end can generally do what a homeowner needs. I have a DCD805 as my compact daily drill and the DCD1007 for when all hell needs to break loose. I find the 805 to overkill for most of what I use it for and sometimes wish I had a slightly smaller and lighter variant. So I suggest the Acme kit and add what you really need as you use the tools.

Running through The model Numbers on this set. It looks like a decent value. I might bite and cycle out some of my older tools
