No fluff like a flashlight. This is really 6 tools. At $10/Ah that makes each tool less than $60. Someone looking to start their collection would do very well getting this.

Seems like you've thought this over a bit and settled on a decision, but I would add that I find it a bonus to have the 2 Ah battery because you don't always need to have a big 5 Ah battery for every tool. I added a 2 Ah battery to my collection because of this reason. Then the power stack got released...While I haven't used the 845, I do have the 850. Again compact size is so convenient. It takes the place of a ratchet for me at times. The angle grinder doesn't get used all the time, but it's very useful when it does such as sharpening lawnmower blades, grinding a tree stump (with the right blade), smoothing out concrete, cutting metal without a hacksaw, and more.
