A 3ish dollar foam pool noodle can be cut to length, and then down the middle and placed around the arm rests and foot area. The add on foam padding makes these types of chairs with plastic arm rests way more comfortable for your elbows and heels/ankle area.

I have the older model of this chair, and I paid nearly double the price. World recommend, especially at this price.

They're great but too heavy to be very portable. I dread having to take them anywhere but they are very comfortable.

That's a good idea, I live in the desert and the arms and feet get hot.

I have a set of these too. They're very comfortable.

Do not leave them out in the rain, make sure you store them in the garage, as they will rust badly if rain gets in the joints. As long as you store these properly and don't expect these to hold 300 pounds, they should last a good while.

I weigh about 260 lbs. I take good care of my gear and sit still, but I have to ask: will I actually be comfortable, or just bracing for a sudden crash?

Have had a pair of these for 5+ years. Piad around $45 for te pair. Very heavy but very comfortable and useful. I never left them in the rain or outside for too long as I am pretty sure they would rust fast.

good price if they actually hold up.

Bought a different one from walmart and it collapsed under a person who weighs half the weight limit. That was disappointing.
