I bought one last time it was on sale. So far so good. Nice quality, audio sounds very clear. Only gripe is the little screw that holds the front camera in place, it keeps getting loose. Nothing that a bit of threadlock cannot fix.

Same, happy with the cam itself. Had to replace the 12v USB adapter as the supplied one would randomly lose power though.

Ah yes, I forgot about that. I did the same. The one I use now powers both the camera and my phone wireless charger. I'm pretty happy with the final result.

Resharing my comment from the previous post for this camera on sale at similar price:

I bought this dasham for the same price in Sep 2025. I have to mention that my unit that arrived first was faulty and kept restarting again and again. I reached out to pelsee support and they were prompt in responding and providing a resolution for the issue by replacing my unit. Since then, the replacement unit has been working fine. They were also able to resolve other minor things like configuring the timestamp such that it does not reset by itself. Coming to the picture/video quality of the front 4K unit, it's great. License plates are visible and readable both during day and even night time (thanks to their night vision tech that seems to work as expected). The lane departure warning and GPS tracking are fairly accurate as well. This has been by far, the best dash cams I have ever owned, especially with the customer support and the tons of features. Off late, I also purchased their hardware kit for parking surveillance and it has been working great.

As per pelsee it does not has true 4k but scaled up. However I have been using it over 6 months and I am happy with the quality of the (scaled up) 4k content. I have also uploaded some of my recorded timelapse videos on YouTube (not raw footage from the dadhcam directly but edited timelapse). One example:

Can the GPS be disabled?
