Agreed. Compare apples to apples people.

In-n-out should be compared to Burger King, McDonald's, Carl's Jr, Jack in the Box.

The Habit should be compared to Farmer Boys, Five Guys, Shake Shack, Culvers, Smashburger (the eatery)...etc.

The price for a burger is what defines the tier.

The Habit is much better than INO.
My favourite burger restaurants are The Habit, Carl's Jr., and Shake Shack, for they all are definitely better and have higher level than M/B/I (look below)
McDonalds's, Burger King, and In-N-Out are not so good, yet they are often worthy related to prices

The Santa Barbara Char is my favorite fast food burger, ever. And I am 68.

However, these are good too. Think these were the first to use grilled onions.

I definitely like The Habit more than In 'n Out, I put The Habit up there with Smashburger, I'm always down for a BOGO thanks OP.

It's a good fast food burger (compared to McDonald's, Burger King, etc), not a good gourmet sit down restaurant burger

Carl's Jr's burgers are similar in pricing to these more expensive ones. Their triple gauacamole burger is my favoriate🍔

You neglected to enlighten us with which $5-$8 burger you prefer over INO and Habit? Both are tasty, fresh burgers that surpass the others like McD or Jack in the Box that would usually cost more!

The burgers are good, and the fries at Habit Burger are way better but with the price difference, I only go when they have these BOGO deals.
