Love the maroon color of this watch! I have four different Orient autos in my collection, two with maroon dials. All were solid as a rock through the years. Rare and beautiful for the watch dials that only a few real watch manufacturers make.

Unfortunately, the red is much lighter and cheaper looking than on their website.

Orient are very solid watches. No, it isn't like wearing a Rolex, but for 2% of the cost you get 65% of the quality.
I don't have this one but I have another model from them and I wear it regularly.

Man I miss the days when we could get Orients for $180 or less on SD. Wish I picked up one of their Pepsi models when I had the chance.

there's so many moving parts or things to consider when going into the watch world
Was looking to buy a pair of watches for an anniversary, but there's so much to consider. Didn't expect the prices to go that high too. Wouldn't wanna purchase a watch for 500 hundred to not like it in the end. I dont think I will purchase online, i don't know enough about the size and how it'd look. Will probably go into a store to see what i like
Is it bad taste to visit a watch store to try stuff on and ask questions and not purchase in the end?

Movement prices have doubled and tariffs are crushing import deals. Even the NH35 powered micro brands have jumped up 30 to 50%.
