I got lucky one day and got a tour of a highly rated detailed, and noticed he had a porche sitting with the wax completely dry on one side, just sitting for hours.. the other side was done and when I say beyond immaculate. It occurred to me, I think thats a trick, a hidden secret, let the wax sit dry for hours to activate maximum results. Must have been a bitch to wipe off though lol

Unless you're using motorized tools, this stuff is outdated. And if you are, you're probably into high end detailing and use niche products anyway.
