It's $249 on Amazon and this is lower than the lowest price history. Only for today at Lowes.

Just picked one up from my local Lowe's. The app said $149.00 but it did ring up as $199.99. They price matched without any issue.

This is ~$50 more then the used market for a similar saw in my area, so it's a no brainer.

Certainly not bad at all. Local sales on used 10" miter saws are around $100 or so.

Good deal for a 12".

Yeah, I saw that price at my Lowes and was going to take it to register and tell them, but decided to just open my app and get it delivered for free.

Great for cutting trim. No or little deflection that you can get with a sliding miter saw.

Two questions:
1. Am I correct in assuming that this miter saw is compatible with the RIDGID mobile miter saw stand?
and
2. Is this worth getting if I already have the 10" Ridgid R4241 Dual Bevel Miter Saw?
I know that this 12" can make deeper cuts than the Ridgid, and the Ridgid's main benefit is that it has a shallow depth due to its design, but this design also can contribute to some side-to-side blade movement if you aren't extra careful. I currently keep my miter saw permanently on the Ridgid mobile cart, so I'm not sure how important the shallow depth is anymore now that it isn't being stored on my workbench.

This saw is 12lbs heavier than your current one. I had an issue with heavier saws and the ridgid mobile miter saw stand. This saw also doesn't have a laser line. Does your Ridgid?

Is the included blade on this saw good enough for cutting trim? I was going to upgrade the blade on my 30 year old beat up craftsman basic 10" saw to get a decent cut on a bunch of trim I need to cut. If so, it may make more sense to get something that cuts more true.

I bought the 10-inch model last year for $100, and it's been excellent. This looks like a solid deal.

no, it has a shadow line which I thought was supposed to be better than laser.
