I'm a newb with ps5 but if I buy this and borrow a friends disk drive adapter for my digital version temporarily will I always need the disk to play after it installs to my ps5's ssd?

Yes you will still need the disc. Physical discs are just licenses these days.

I think it was $30 for a while at MegaLowMart instore a few months ago.
Gamestop has used b2g1 free at the moment and it $38.

Just got done putting another hour or so into it this morning, about half way through. I don't want to overly hype this game, but I can definitely say there's little to nothing to complain about. Incredible and creative level design. Hones your hand eye coordination very nicely. Should've been the system bundled game from day one.

I thought this game was overrated but after playing a couple hours, was totally wrong. A lot of creativity went into this level of play
