I have this fan and it's honestly amazing. I've been super happy with it and tempted to pick up a spare.

How can a $36 fan be a good deal? There are many fans cheaper then this can be comparable.

EEK! inflation: today $36 is about half tank of gasoline, year ago it was around two tanks of my car.

I've owned this fan for years. It's a silent little beast. Way better than those other cheap desktop fans you're mentioning. You just need to blow it out with a duster from time to time. I'd buy another in an instant if mine broke.

Bought this fan for the wife several years ago at FULL msrp of $75.
Some things:
  • The light is INSANELY bright for the levels and stuff. Black electrical tape is nearly a must.
  • If you don't like oscilation, and just want this pointing at your face at night; STAY AWAY. One bad button press and you have to button-press-oscilate it back to position. It is VERY annoying and VERY time consuming if you try to change the power in the night, and fail.
  • The Levels of the fan are 4 written levels, but can be explained as thus:

    [|||LEVEL1||||LEVEL2||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||LEVEL3||LEVEL4|||]
    • If you hate loud but want air, you needed level 2.3, 2.5, or 2.7, which don't exist. You get whisper and little air, louder whisper and some air........ then jet engine with tons of air, and barely different level 4 with jet engine tons of air #2.
I wouldn't recommend this fan to my enemies.
