This is my speaker of choice. Waterproof is a bonus. It's not enough for a full outdoor party environment, but it is definitely able to fill a room with quality sound while being the size of a softball. It has long battery life.

This is my speaker of choice. Waterproof is a bonus. It's not enough for a full outdoor party environment, but it is definitely able to fill a room with quality sound while being the size of a softball. It has long battery life.

Unlike a couple of others who posted positive experience with this item, my experience was pretty bad. It worked fine for a few weeks. Then, inexplicably, it started making a repetitive droning sound, sort of like an engine hiccuping (dzhuh, dzhuh, dzhuh, dzhuh, dzhuh, etc.). It would not turn off and the volume buttons didn't work. I could find no reset pin (nor any reset instructions in the very sparse "documentation" included with the speaker). So, I returned it. For a day and a half, until I could get a chance to return it, it constantly made this annoying sound - I repackaged it and had to put it in the oven in order to minimize the sound!

Great speaker for its size. The other ones are just a tad too heavy or big to lug around. My MIL uses it for dance classes and it is enough sound for the studio. These are old people so they don't need it superloud.

I have three of these. They're easy enough for my wife and kids to figure out without having to set them up. Not to brag, but I got all of them for free (Uline freebies)

I've had an older version (WB2) since 2021, it's OK. The sound isn't the best in the world but its loud enough to put at a picnic table and get some tunes. I don't know if they have corrected it but the most annoying thing about it is that when you turn it on or off it makes this loud sound like something is zooming in or out that you can't adjust or remove. This price is pretty good as it looks like I paid more for it back in 2021. But given the improvements in technology and how portable speakers are cheaper than before I'd probably get a smaller one for cheaper in retrospect.

I heard someone playing music on one of these. The sound quality was okay, made me think the high price is from brand and certain convenient features, but still overpriced. I've heard better more sound focused speakers from other companies for half the price.

I found the WB4 to be pretty mediocre and returned it. At this price, I'd recommend either the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 or the Earfun Uboom L, both of which can be had for ~$50.

www.speakerranking.com has the Wonderbooms ranked around 80th for medium sized BT speakers.
