At 4 capsules per serving, this "120 capsule" unit is only a 30-day supply. If only there were labeling standards for the big print locations...

I can't comment on this specific brand. But magnesium has been a god send for me. I used to have a lot of issues with falling asleep and not being able to calm my brain. Having racing thoughts. Used to have to take melatonin or Benadryl every night to fall asleep and sometimes those didn't even work. I take magnesium now about an hour before bed and I can't even get through an episode of forensic files and I'm out for the night. Highly recommend trying it if you have any issues falling asleep. I no longer need melatonin or other sleep aids.

What are you talking about? Around 40% of Americans are deficient in magnesium, which is important for muscle relaxation, mineral absorption, and DNA repair. Of memory serves, taking Mg glycinate can decrease your risk of pancreatic cancer by like 30%. Might have even been 50%.

Coming from someone who takes way too many supplements, I would still agree with this general sentiment. But because this comes in 4 capsules per dose, you can underdose on purpose, stretching the dollar on a reasonably reputable brand.Most of supplement benefits come from tackling deficiency. Going from deficient to almost deficient is often more beneficial and with less side effects than going from almost deficient to having the "optimal" amount.

Lots of uneducated comments on this one.
I've been taking Magnesium Glucinate for almost a year now. It helps cut the time for DOMS in half from lifting heavy.
Sports Research is the best brand for supplements, I'm in for one.

Yes, this multiple tablets per dose thing seems to be somewhat of a marketing scam by magnesium producers. Seems like other supplement are mostly one tablet per day so, if a bottle has 360 tablets, it is, essentially, a year's supply. But, with magnesium, the dose is two, or even four, tablets per day, making a jar of 180 possibly only a 6 week supply. Other than such trickery, what would be the reason for not having a single tablet contain a day's dose?
