Hey, I have a question about this process.

Maybe someone here with some experience or a T-mobile guy can respond.

I am paying monthly on an iphone 16 pro. It's in perfect condition. It's like $34 a month.

I'm eligible for an upgrade on T-mobile.

Can I trade my iphone 16 pro in and get this and it be free? The 16 pro qualifies for the full discount on T-mobile on this.

I know it would be a downgrade, I just don't want a phone payment anymore.
lol you cant stop phone payments just because you upgrade

Only Pixel at the moment. They want that 2nd chip.

Expected "FUTURE" Motorola phone. no comments on support current razr or anything else

2nd GrapheneOS. If you are a frequent international flyer this might be one of the only OS's you don't have to nuke on return.

If you have concerns beyond privacy and intrusion of your pictures/contacts/everything by a random foreign government that can easily copy your phone image, then burner phone for travel. Home phone stays home.

And ironically, they're partnering with Lenovo/Motorola. But I'd still pick any Motorola phone over Pixel phone any day of the week.
they are designing a FUTURE phone that meets their specs to secure the OS. just buy a pixel if you want to use the OS. He brought them up because it is theoretically the best hype/hope for privacy in a smartphone.

Google doesn't exactly support them. Yet the OS only works currently on modern Pixels. Or maybe... Google is behind everything!!

nobody trusts them since the superfish era. Lenovo Backdoor Malware 2015

11 years ago to avoid Lenovo. GrapheneOS is only advising hardware for money. According to them.

"Not for existing 5g next plans unfortunately
Edit: I realize now that the OPs promo doesn't require any trade in, while the one below does. They seem to be completely different promos.

Switch to or have a qualifying plan:
   • New Members: Join on our Experience Beyond plan with at least 1 line.
   • Existing Members: Have an Experience Beyond, or legacy Go5G Next plan."

The promo does state that it works for Go5G Next legacy plans. I can confirm that if I trade my s23, it says that it will give me $1699.

What the cheapest line u can get on T-Mobile that qualified for this promotion
on Experience Beyond (the pain) Smilie Smilie . It is on their most expensive plan, which I find NO DEAL at all. I am a 20-years TMobile customer btw but recently they behave as any other greedy corporation. This "deal" is a perfect example of that.
Why a normal person buy the Experience Beyond plan AND locks into two years of credits for a Motorola phone?! The plan perks are corporate style, i.e. you should have it from an employer if you really need it. Or, you travel every single day of the year abroad but in that case you are most likely a billionaire and you don't care about a "free" phone anyway - you have a non-profit foundation issued phone and line and you have no income and no taxes Smilie Smilie
Yeah, T-Mobile is amazing Smilie ....$100+ AND taxes per line to get a phone...

Title should NOT say free. If the required service is $100/month, this is a $2400 phone. (Or at least a $2200 phone, since you could otherwise get something like Tello for $8/month = 192 for 24 months).
