I was waiting for the Zojirushi NS-ZCC10 to go on sale again, but it looks like this might actually be the better cooker for us

Seems like this model is made in China compared to NS-ZCC10 made in Japan. Not sure how that translates, but I can't image one being much better than the other.

The NL-EAC10WA has jasmine rice, quinoa, and steel cut oat settings. It seems like it's a slightly newer menu/UI.

You can still make jasmine rice in the NS-ZCC10, but wife prefers a dedicated setting vs. having to manually adjust water levels.

The NS-ZCC10 has the fuzzy logic and probably makes better Japanese rice, and the made in Japan ones have a longer track record and we know they're rock solid. It's definitely a higher-end model for them and probably the better pure rice cooker.

I know decent rice cookers are way better than those $10 Aromas I suffered with as a college student, but these have to be overpriced or overkill for the average consumer. No way they make that much better rice than my $80 Panasonic, right?
