Anyone have experience with this? Looking for something to replace my razor but still gives me a smooth clean shave for my facial hair.

These are a little chunky and loud. Paint chips off fast also. I cut hair for 17 years and tried every clipper.

Solid for the price and I always loved the removable batteries. Not my favorite . I'm strictly TPOB and Stylecraft now a days.

Even for $100, is it worth it?

Does this model have a removable battery? How much does the battery cost? What will be your best recommendations?

Not a barber, but in my opinion, this will not be satisfying for a close shave. You'd want the trimmer for that. It's not adjustable, no guards - just a zero-gapped short tooth blade for dry shaving and outlining.

Even with a zero-gapped trimmer, you'd probably still want to go over it with a foil to catch stubble. I get as close as I can with the trimmer, then finish with foil shaver to smooth it down further.

Yes. Unsure how much a backup battery costs. The set I had came with one.

Been using a VGR to do my hair for over a year. Based on YouTube/google, a solid go-to pro level clipper. In for one at a good price

In for one. My niece is a beautician and this is the brand she uses. Last year I found a deal on the trimmers so it is good to finally find her a decent deal on the clippers.

Would you say their is a difference between home clippers and barber clippers? Want to cut my own hair, so trying to see if their is a diff

Barber grade clippers are generally more refined and built for hours of daily use. For home grooming, a set of inexpensive name brand clippers like Wahl will do a good job and last a very long time. For cutting your own hair to short-medium length, I highly recommend the Flowbee system. It's pricey these days but has saved me thousands in many years of cutting my own hair. The fixed-length adjusters help a lot with blind areas like the back of your head, and neatly trimming the rear neckline afterwards with clippers makes for a presentable result. You also get exactly the cut you want, rather than settling for whatever a salon decides to give you.

I actually started cutting my own hair after my regular hair lady decided that interrogating me about my personal life was appropriate anytime I was in her chair. At some point I just decided to do it myself at home, and sidestep the appointments, expenditure, gossip, and tip expectations. I don't miss any of it.
