For those of us that regularly buy Royal basmati rice, these are plastic bags, not jute.
Jumped on a similar deal from Amazon a while back and it came in the plastic bag. Rice tasted different and didn't cook to the same consistency as the jute version. I'd stick with local stores for a household staple like rice.
I tried this brand before, and I thought there was a chemical taste even after rinsing. Anybody else experience this? I've been avoiding this brand since then.
1. People saying store is cheaper probably failed math 2. Plastic bag has nothing to do with taste and is safer to store, avoids any moth infestation 3. 30 lbs is a lot of rice 4. this is very close to regular price/lb and no need to stock up
