Select Micro Center Stores have this bundle which includes an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X, MSI X870E MAG Tomahawk Max WiFi AM5, G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit - Order Online for later Store Pickup.

You have 3 days (not counting the day the order is submitted) to pick-up the bundle.

Finally, while many gamers love the X3D variants of the AMD CPUs, this processor albeit not a X3D variant is a powerful workhorse for all sorts of stuff including many AI applications. It out performs the Ryzen 7 9800X3D in many non-gaming scenarios and it doesn't come with the X3D "tax" that gamers are willing to pay.

The motherboard speaks for itself. It is considered one of the absolute best price to value motherboards on the market right now and enjoys stellar reviews from both testers and actual users.

I'm interested in this deal. I am looking to replace an aging i7 rig that I built around 7 years ago.

Can I gut that out that build reuse the power supply, it is 750W and an nvidia card that supports 4K and it is meeting my needs.

Prob. You can input your expected specs into any power calculator tool and see what your new build would pull and if 750W is appropriate.

I already own a 9900X and it's def a powerhouse in productivity workloads and not a slouch in gaming either, maxing out my 4K monitor's refresh rate (144Hz) at times while in combination w/ a AsRock Steel Legend 9070 XT so take that for what you will.

This isn't the best option when the Intel 270K PLUS exists at $600. I'm sure by now we all know that If you game go with the 9800X3D, you want top tier get the 9950X3D. For budget friendly productivity, Intel clawed back some market share with the 270K.

This exact bundle has held at this price for half a year. This thread is a waste of everyone's time.

This is one of the ones that aren't moving, along with the 265K / 285K bundles. MC has a lot of stock and needs to lower the price. If you can't wait for Nova Lake in Q4, or Zen 6 in Q1, then the 270K Plus bundle is the choice at $600 (low was $550). The AMD deals worth it are on the lower price Zen 4, like the 7600X3D bundle. I tell my customers that most the AMD bundles are over by $100 even factoring the current DDR5 prices.

I built a machine with 3 goals in mind. It needed to be a powerhouse, quiet and rock solid stable. The Intel 270K Plus is a first generation product that has suffered from stability issues. It also runs hotter than the Ryzen 9. For these reasons, I chose AMD. I prefer stability over bleeding edge.

Maybe that's the case, I just discovered it myself since it's not on their featured bundles page. In addition, IF it has held at this price for 6 months... it's actually becoming a better deal as time goes when considering the skyrocketing prices for ram due to the shortage.

This was $699 for the last 6 months with various different kits of memory. Don't pay a premium for ~18 month old CPU. If you can wait for zen6, wait.
